Weight Loss & Toning

Big Cat personal training will help clients get back into shape by developing a customized program that tones the body, sheds fat, and trims inches. Cardiovascular exercise, such as stair-climbing, speed-walking, walking, swimming, and running, is one technique to improve body appearance. Increasing body strength does as much to changing the body’s appearance and aid in losing weight as diet and cardiovascular activity.

BIG CAT will create a personalized routine of body sculpting and cardiovascular workouts that may include:

Strength Training

Big Cat’s strength training programs are geared toward helping you improve your fitness levels and overall health. Rob will train and guide you through a routine created for you to help increase your strength and energy so you can look and feel your best.

Strength training uses resistance to introduce muscular contraction and help build anaerobic endurance, increase the size of your skeletal muscles, and build strength. Combining different exercises, number of sets, repetitions, and changing up tempos builds muscle strength and allows you to achieve the desired results. Strength training is effective in weight loss programs and in the treatment of chronic conditions such as back pain and arthritis.

Cardio Fitness

Whether you want to relieve stress or burn a lot of calories in a short period of time, Big Cat has the moves to help get your heart rate going. Cardiovascular fitness is the ability of the heart and lungs to supply oxygen-rich blood to the working muscles of your body and, in turn, the ability of those muscles to use oxygen to produce energy for movement.

Sustained physical activity is the key to earning the benefits of cardio fitness. Cardiovascular exercise is perfect for burning fat and losing weight by helping you burn more calories than you take in

Senior Fitness Training

Exercise plays an important role in how we age and how to stay healthy during our senior years. Physical exercise has many benefits including lowering tension, managing stress, controlling cholesterol, reducing the chance of injury and minimizing the effects of countless chronic conditions. Rob can help you get your body and mind into shape through an exercise program focused on functional strength training, balance, stretching and cardiovascular activities.

Virtual Training Sessions

Virtual Personal Training sessions are designed to fully recreate the in-home or on-site personal training experience, with dedicated one-on-one or small group (2-5 people) instruction for a full hour.Rob will instruct, inform and motivate you throughout your remote session, demonstrating key exercises right before your very eyes to ensure proper form and technique. These sessions are available in FaceTime, WhatsApp, Zoom or Skype.

The first step in your virtual training journey is a free health and fitness assessment, also completed remotely. Rob will use the information uncovered in your assessment to create a customized fitness program made just for you and your body, and to agree on the frequency and nature of your sessions to get you the results you are looking for.

We will also deliver any specialized equipment you may need for your virtual training sessions, like resistance bands or dumb bells. Equipment is made available based on  inventory, and yours to keep on loan for up to 30-day intervals. Our loaner equipment is cleaned and disinfected to exceed CDC/PHAC standards
